Stephen M. Hickey specializes in Insurance Defense, Civil Litigation, Criminal Litigation, and Business Law. He has extensive experience handling a wide range of legal matters, including personal injury, premises liability, motor vehicle and trucking accidents, construction defects, wrongful death, uninsured/underinsured motorist claims, business collections, contract disputes and drafting, bankruptcy, and more. Stephen also represents financial institutions and small businesses in various legal matters.
A native of Dauphin County, Stephen graduated from Bishop McDevitt High School in Harrisburg. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing with a Minor in Information Systems and Technology from Pennsylvania State University. Before pursuing law, Stephen gained valuable experience across multiple industries, providing him with a broad understanding of diverse business sectors.
Stephen earned his Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law, where he was named to the Dean’s List. During law school, he worked for Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company, resolving personal injury claims arising from motor vehicle accidents. This experience provided him with in-depth knowledge of the insurance industry.
Before joining the firm, Stephen built a successful career as a solo practitioner, public defender, and in-house counsel. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, as well as the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
Stephen resides in Cumberland County with his wife, their three children, and two boxers.
